Goals for 2010

It’s January 1st, that means it’s time for age-old tradition of putting our goals for the year out there. I am not a fan of making new years resolutions so you will not be getting any of those from me. Every year I put up goals for my personal and professional life. I figure setting goals at the beginning of each period - in this case a year - gives me something to work toward and yes reward myself at the end of it. So this year is not any different. I have set new goals that I prioritize in the order that I think everybody should:

  1. Family
  2. Friends
  3. Business

For the purposes of this blog, I will not get into the goals related to family and friends. I will however tell you a little bit about my top business related goals. So here we go.

  • Successfully brand myself as an entrepreneur with a passion for business development.
  • Start a tech company - I am still so fascinated with tech industry and I believe that there are still many opportunities for start-ups to be successful.
  • Become a great contributor to the entrepreneurial community - through this blog.
  • Complete the MBA program at DePaul University.

There you have it, those are some of the business goals that I will work to achieve by the end of this year. What are some of yours?
